Help For Heroes fund raising

Feb 9, 2010

On 7th March, the BKF Sports Injury Specialist, Dave Inman, will be running in the Bath Half-Marathon. He is running on behalf of the BKF to raise funds for the Help for Heroes charity, which supports the servicemen and women who have been injured and lost limbs whilst serving their country.

Dave was a career soldier before he qualified as an osteopath, serving for 23 years in the British Army.

Dave is a 6th Dan and has trained with Mike Billman for 38 years, starting when he was 12 years old.

He is a highly qualified sportsman and represented the Army on many occasions in various sports including football (Dave is also a fully qualified FA Coach).

He has set up a web-page in conjunction with H4H and donations can be made by clicking on the link below:

Last September the BKF karate fraternity raised a sum of £13,000 for the charity and we would like to ask you all to dig deep again to support our injured servicemen.

When you donate please leave a message in the space provided to say that you are a BKF member.
