Mike Billman, European Technical Commission Chairman, has been asked to attend the WKF Technical Commission meeting in Okinawa, Japan, being held on the 17th-20th May 2012.
This is the first time that anyone from the UK has ever been selected from Technical, so congratulations are due to Mike.
More good news for the EKF and BKF is that another member of Mike’s Technical Commission members, Ticky Donovan OBE, has been asked to attend the Senior Europeans, to be held in Tenerife in May.
Ticky will act as a commentator for the television production of the Championships, to be held over a period of four days.
This can do nothing but help raise the profile of karate in the UK.
Many congratulations are due to both.
Chris.
