The BKF site is supported by TISKA (Traditional International Shotokan Karate Association.)
The association is headed by Gursharan Sahota, 7th Dan, Chief Instructor and well-known author of books on Shotokan karate, (see website) and has clubs as far afield as India and South Africa.
Another member of TISKA is Mike Billman, 8th Dan, the BKF Vice President and Presidential Advisor. Mike is also Chairman of the European Technical Commission, a member of the European Sports Commission, and a member of the World Technical Commission.
The BKF are grateful to Gursharan for funding the maintenance of the BKF website, especially in view of the fact that TISKA have only recently undergone a substantial makeover to their own web-site.
